Samuel D. Schrock, 76 years, 3 months, of rural Tuscola, IL passed away at 12:25 P.M. on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at the LaVern Schlabach residence, 573 North CR 325 East, Tuscola, IL.  Bishop Matthew Miller will officiate.  Burial will be in the Miller Cemetery in rural Arcola. Visitation will be held any time after 2:00 P.M. on Monday, November 9, 2020 until the service at the Schlabach residence.  The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Sam was born on August 8, 1944 in Arthur.  He was a son of Dan J. and Ada (Mast) Schrock.  He married Susie Ellen (Schrock) on November 17, 1968 in Millersburg, IN.  They lived in Matrimony 53 years, 11 months, 22 days.

He is survived by his wife, Susie Ellen of Tuscola, 4 sons, John Edward married Barbara Sue Kuhns of Arcola, Nathan married Katie Chupp of Tuscola, Mark Allen married Norene Miller of Ava, and Philip married Mary Ellen  Kaufman of Arthur, 6 daughters, Ruby Fern married Larry Mast of Tuscola, Mary Maudene married Lonnie Kaufman of Arcola, Rhoda Ann married David Mast of Lovington, Lela Ruth of Tuscola, Naomi Louise married Chester Mast of Sullivan and Rachel Elizabeth married Eldon Kaufman of Arthur, 69 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers, Edwin married Viola Yoder of Arthur, Daniel married Dena Herschberger of Cuba, and Jerry married Magdalena Bontrager of Kalona, IA, and 2 sisters, Martha married Lonnie Yoder of Arthur and Elizabeth Ann married Roy Beachy of Kalona, IA, two step-brothers, Simon and Dennis Yoder of Kalona, IA and three step-sisters, Emma Yoder of Kalona, IA, Nina Bontreger of Millersburg, IN and Ida Yoder of Kalona, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two grandchildren, David Schrock and John David Mast, and four brothers, Fred, Henry, Jacob and David Schrock.

Sam was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
