Levi Mast

Levi D. Mast, 75 years, 9 months, 24 days, of Arcola, IL passed away at 4:30 P.M. on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the Myron Hostetler residence, 191 North Co Rd 525 E., Arcola, IL.  Bishop Reuben Kaufman will officiate.  Burial will be in the Bagdad Cemetery in rural Arcola, IL.  Visitation will be held any time after 2:00 P.M. on Monday, November 2, 2020 at the Myron Hostetler residence.  The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Levi was born on January 8, 1945 in Douglas County, IL.  He was a son of Amos U. and Esther (Mast) Mast.  He married Fannie J. Yoder on October 26, 1967 in Douglas County, they lived in Holy Matrimony 53 years.

He is survived by his wife, Fannie; He is survived by seven children, Reuben L. Mast and his wife Carolyn (Chupp) of Campbell Hill, IL, John William Mast and his wife Marie (Otto) of Arthur, IL, Amanda Louise Plank and her husband Allen of, Arcola, IL, Alton L. Mast and his wife Rose Anna (Helmuth) of Arthur, IL, Andy Mast and his wife Mary (Wengerd) of Fredericksburg, OH, Marcus Mast and his wife Anna Mary (Kaufman) of Murphysboro, IL and Clarence Mast and his wife Barbara (Otto) of Arcola, IL, 37 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Mast of Nappanee, IN and Menno Mast and his wife Lucy of Bloomfield, IA, and two sisters, Sarah Hostetler and her husband William of Auburn, KY and Mattie Mast of Windsor, MO

His parents, an infant son, Christy Mast who was a twin to Clarence, two grandchildren, LeAnna Mast and Mervin Mast, one brother, Eli Mast and two sisters, Salina Mast and Anna Mast preceded him in death.

Levi was a woodworker.   He operated Morningside Woodcraft for many years.

Levi was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
