Brian Wehrle

Brian Keith Wehrle, 54 of Arthur, IL passed away at 9:07 PM on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at his residence.

Celebration of Brian’s life will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, March 1, 2021 at the Edwards Funeral Home, 221 East Main St. Arcola, IL 61910.

Brian was born on February 3, 1967 in Decatur, IL.  He was a son of Joseph Keith and Sarah Margaret (Scott) Wehrle.  He married Beth Marie Young on September 1, 1990 in Arthur, IL.

He is survived by his wife, Beth of Arthur, IL, three children, Brandon Keith Hollenbeck (Nikki) of Tuscola, IL, Lacey Ann Kingery (Waylon) of Atwood, IL and Lauren Beth Wehrle (Jacob) of Arcola, IL, five grandchildren, Carlee, Maddie, Kyndra, Bryson and Hadley, five siblings, Rick Phillips of KY, Pam Marler (Jim) of Allerton, IL, Bev Hill (Dennis) of Effingham, IL, Penny Wehrle (Eric) of Atwood, IL and Donny Wehrle of Windsor, IL, several special nieces and nephews, and his furry friend, Skittles, a Toy Fox Terrier.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Tim Phillips.

Brian was a 1985 graduate of Arthur High School.

He drove a semi for over 25 years and was an owner and operator for much of that time.

Brian enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He enjoyed grilling out with family and friends but most of all spending time with family, friends, his dog and especially his grandchildren.
