Beverly Jean (Blosser) Huckstep Crist, 77, of Arthur, IL passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019 at Decatur Memorial Hospital in Decatur, IL.

Memorial services will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at the Arthur United Methodist Church, 128 East Illinois Street, Arthur, IL.   Pastor Bruce Weiman will officiate.   Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. prior to the memorial service.
The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Beverly was born on April 1, 1942 in Moweaqua, IL.   She was a daughter of Alvin L. and Anna Genevie (Bridgeman) Blosser.   She married David L. Huckstep on June 17, 1962 in Assumption, IL.   He passed away on November 2, 1993.   She later married Ervin W. Crist on September 29, 1994 in Moweaqua, IL.

She is survived by her husband, Ervin; two children, David L. Huckstep II and his wife Jennifer of Moweaqua, IL and Cindy Collins and her husband Bob of Carlock, IL; four step-children, David Crist and his wife Carol of Arthur, IL, Bob Crist and his wife Carla of Charleston, IL, Lisa French and her special friend Ed Rader of Arcola, IL and Julie Boyer and her husband Dave of Bethany, IL; five grandchildren, Caitlyn J. Collins, Nicholas A. Huckstep and his wife Alison, Megan D. Cole and her husband James, Sami R. Huckstep and Sarah A. Huckstep; two great-grandchildren, Weston B. Huckstep and David J. Cole; thirteen step-grandchildren; nineteen step-great-grandchildren; one sister Judy A. Crosby and her husband Jerry of Pana, IL and her chiweenie, Sissy.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband David Huckstep, one grandson, Justin C. Huckstep, one sister, Brenda J. Lewellyn and a step son-in-law, Randy French.

Beverly graduated from Assumption High School in 1960.  She has been a beautician, she worked at BorgWarner, GSI and she drove a School Bus for over 20 years, she drove for Moweaqua and Arthur School Districts.

She was a member of the Red Hats Club, Carriage Camper’s Club and The Arthur United Methodist Church.

Beverly enjoyed Square-Dancing when she was younger, she liked quilting, genealogy, camping, traveling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of DMH for Beverly’s cancer care.

Memorials may be made to Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
