Barry Snyder

BARRY SNYDER, 63, of Arthur, IL passed away on Monday, August 26, 2019 at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Carrollton, TX.

Memorial service will be held at Noon on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Arthur, IL.  Rev. John Stewart will officiate.  Barry’s ashes will be placed in a niche in the Columbarium in the Arthur Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to Noon prior to the memorial service at the church.   The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Barry was born on December 5, 1955 in Tuscola, IL.  He was a son of Henry Arnold and Mildred Durean (Jent) Snyder.  He married Vickie E. Yutzy on June 17, 1977.

Survivors include his wife Vickie; two sons, Shawn Snyder and his fiancée Jennifer of Mesquite, TX and Andy Snyder of Terrell, TX grandchildren Christopher, Zachary, and Kaden; one brother, Tony Snyder and his wife Kaye of Findlay, IL

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Arthur, IL.

Barry will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend.
