Trevor was born on April 16, 1994 in Urbana, IL. He is the son of Curt and Vickie Rae (England) Gibson.

He is survived by his parents, Curt and Vickie Gibson of Arthur, IL, three siblings, Christina Ade and her husband Nelson of Eureka, IL, Jacob Seaman of Mancelona, MI, and Raeellen Seaman of Arthur, IL, nieces and nephews, Cody and Caitlyn Seaman, Payton and Madison Ade, and Hali Roderick, his maternal grandmother, Delilah England of Arthur, IL.

He was preceded in death by one half brother, Jeremy Seaman, a nephew, Hayden Ade, his paternal grandparents, Jerry and Shirley Gibson, maternal grandpa, Donald England, and his dog Jaeger.

Trevor was a warm and memorable presence in the lives of many, known for his unforgettable hugs and keen ability to remember faces and names.

Graduating from Arthur High School in 2013, Trevor was a proud manager of the Arthur Boys Basketball team. He later participated in the Special Olympics, showcasing his athletic talents in basketball, cornhole, bocce ball, baseball, and track, proudly traveling to Springfield, Rantoul and Mattoon to compete every few months. His love for sports extended beyond personal participation; he was an avid supporter of the St. Louis Cardinals and the ALAH sports teams.

Trevor had diverse interests that gave him a huge personality. He possessed a deep enthusiasm for trains, able to distinguish their sounds from afar and accurately identify their directions. He enjoyed train rides at the Monticello Train Museum and had a particular fondness for firetrucks, recalling the colors of all the fire trucks in the surrounding towns. Music played a big role in his life, with favorites such as Elvis, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, and Eric Church filling his days, especially the song “Unbelievable” By Diamond Rio.

One of Trevor’s proudest achievements was participating in parades. He cherished the excitement of the Broomcorn Parade and the Arthur 4th of July Parade, where he would ride on the fire trucks alongside Chief Miller, ensuring that he spread joy by throwing just one piece of candy at a time. He shared a special bond with his nephew Cody, who was born on Trevor’s birthday. Trevor also enjoyed helping his dad during harvest season for Mark and Melissa Yoder.

Trevor’s adventurous spirit and joyful nature will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and enthusiasm that will be cherished by his family and friends.
