Thomas Holloway

Thomas Holloway, 70, of Champaign, IL passed away at 7:49 AM on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Arcadia Care in Danville, IL.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the Philo Road Church of Christ in Urbana, IL.  Dick Miller will officiate.   The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Thomas was born on August 16, 1952 in Pikeville, KY.  He was a son of Earl and Hilda (Kiser) Holloway Jr.  He married Terry Anne Abels on April 9, 2017 in Urbana, IL.

He is survived by his wife, Terry Abels of Champaign, IL, one brother, Gregory Holloway, and an aunt, Sue Kilgore of KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Terry Holloway and Jeffery Holloway, and one sister, Sharon Kay.

Thomas was a member of the Philo Road Church of Christ.

He loved to play cards.  Thomas was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  He helped many members of the church with many odd jobs, from carpentry, cutting grass and cutting down trees.   Thomas had a great sense humor and an infectious laugh.
