Sherri Lynn Hatton

Sherri Lynn Hatton, 57, of Oakland, IL passed away at 4:50 AM on Friday, October 30, 2026 at Gibson Family Center for Hospice in Terre Haute, IN.

No formal services will be held.

Sherri was born on June 21, 1959. She was the daughter of Charles Lonzo and Patricia L. (Brooks) Emberton. She married Michael Allen Hatton in 2011 in Paris, IL.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Hatton of Oakland, IL, one son, Charles Emberton of Oakland, IL, siblings, Jane (Bill) Cochran, Lori Winkler, both of Cape Coral, FL, and Greg Emberton of Tampa, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Gary Emberton.

She worked as a waitress and hairdresser for several years.
