Sadie F. (Schlabach) Plank, 91 of Arcola, IL passed away at 1:15 AM on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at the HCK West Building, one mile south of Arthur, IL. Bishop Reuben Kaufman will officiate. Burial will follow in the Yoder Cemetery in Arthur, Illinois. Visitation will be held anytime after 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 and anytime after 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 all at the HCK West Building. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Sadie was born on July 7, 1934 in Arthur, IL. She was a daughter of Fred D. and Mary (Yoder) Schlabach. She married Harvey J. Plank on December 6, 1956. They lived in matrimony for 69 years, 3 months, 18 days.
Survivors include, her husband, Harvey J. Plank of Arcola, IL, five sons, Merle Plank married to Linda Yoder, Paul Plank married to Marsha Herschberger, all of Arcola, IL, Edward Lee Plank Married to Kerri Lynn Daniel of Humboldt, IL, Wilmer Plank married to Treva Kay Herschberger of Arcola, IL, and Marcus Plank married to Dena Beachy of Crofton, KY, four daughters, Lorene Plank, Mary Ellen Plank, both of Arcola, IL, Catherine married to Joseph Yoder of Bluffton, IN, and Laura Mae married to Alan Dean Miller of Arthur, IL, 37 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, two brothers, Eli Schlabach and his wife Rebecca, and Harley Schlabach, two sisters, Annie Ellen Otto and her husband Melvin, and Fannie Marie Schlabach, and one sister-in-law, Verna Schlabach.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter, Carol Elizabeth Plank, three brothers, Lewis Schlabach and his wife Mattie, Willard Schlabach and his wife Esther, and Daniel Schlabach, two sisters, Lena Schrock and her husband Ben, and Abbie Beachy and her husband Jacob, and one sister-in-law, Mary Etta Schlabach.
Sadie was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
