Roy Gregory

ROY ALLEN GREGORY, 58, of Windsor, IL passed away at 6:50 A.M. on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at the Sullivan Health Care Center in Sullivan, IL.

A celebration of his life will be held from 6:00 P.M to 10:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at his residence, 1321 Pennsylvania Avenue in Windsor, IL.   The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Roy was born on May 25, 1959 in Champaign, IL.   He was a son of Robert Lee and Joyce Ann (Johnson) Gregory.

He is survived by one brother, Rick Gregory of Windsor, IL; two nieces, Angel Gingerich of Hammond, IL and Shannon Gregory of Pierson, IL, one nephew, Dustin Gregory of Effingham, IL; six great nieces and four great nephews.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Robert Eugene, Randy Lee and Russell William Gregory.

Roy graduated from Arthur High School in 1977.   He was an 8-year U.S. Navy Veteran.

He worked for Delta Airlines for over 30 years, retiring out of Tampa, FL as a maintenance supervisor.

Roy enjoyed riding his Harley, and he appreciated classic cars; having owned a couple himself.  He had a Camaro SS and a Pontiac GTO.   He always looked forward to having a good time and spending time with family and friends.
