Rose Marie “Hatch” Kronshagen, 88 of Arcola, IL, formerly of Pana, IL, passed away at 11:50 PM on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Carriage Crossing Senior Living in Arcola, IL.
Per Rose’s wishes, she will be cremated with no formal services.
Rose was born on October 20, 1933 in Pana, IL. She was a daughter of Earl and Catherine (Broux) Puckett. She married Robert Anthony in 1954, they divorced, and she married Donald Kronshagen in 1959, he passed away in June of 2013.
She is survived by four children, daughter Kim (Alan) Jones of Hindsboro, IL, sons, Stephen (fiancé) C.J.) Kronshagen of Omro, WS, Michael Kronshagen of Decatur, IL and Christopher Kronshagen of Huntsville, TX, grandchildren, Amy (Kipp) Borgic of Decatur, IL, Emily Jones of Springfield, IL, Jeremy (Stephanie) Jones of Forsyth, IL, Karey (Kyle) Smart of Wapella, IL, Tera (Ryan) Cook of Decatur, IL, Adam Kronshagen of Lima, OH, Nicole Kronshagen of Milwaukee, WS, Tyler Kronshagen of West Bend, WS, Kelley (Mitch) Martell of Hartford, WS, Aleischa (boyfriend, Aaron) Kronshagen of Milwaukee, WS, Dustin Kronshagen of Montgomery, TX and Alexis Pormboeuf of Conroe, TX, great grandchildren, Alexandra, Madeline, Lillian, Adalee, Claire, Charlotte, Ava, Maverick, Athena, Hannah, Emmah, Jackson, Brock, and Hazel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Don Kronshagen and six great grandchildren.
Rose was born and raised in Pana most of her life. She graduated from Pana High School with the class of 1951. She was actively involved with her Class Reunion Committee for many years. She was an avid bowler. She bowled for many years with the “Mop Pushers”, winning many trophies and awards for her bowling skills.
Rose was a member of the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Pana, IL. She moved to Carriage Crossing in Arcola in 2019.
She had worked as a Switch Board Operator at Bell Telephone, George’s Candy Shop, Mallory’s Watch Factory, White Hen Pantry and Walmart, all in Pana, IL
