Rick Good

Rick Good, 68 of Arcola, IL passed away at 6:32 AM on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at Mattoon Health Care and Rehab.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at the Edwards Funeral Home, 221 East Main St., Arcola, IL. Pastor Bill Ramsey will officiate. Burial will follow in the Arcola Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from Noon to 1:00 at the funeral home.

Rick was born on April 30, 1957 in Tuscola, IL. He was a son of Wilfred Monroe and Dolores Dean (Bergfield) Good.

He is survived by two children, Amanda Vance of Roanoke, VA and Adam Seip and his wife Amber of Tuscola, IL, one brother, Glenn Good and his wife Debra of Champaign, IL, three half siblings, Teresa Cherry and her husband Bill of Arcola, IL, Ken Landreth and his wife Kathy of Monticello, IL, Dennis Landreth and his wife Mary of Burleson, TX, three step siblings, Stan Landreth and his wife Debbie of Greenup, IL, Mike Ritter and his wife Kris of Champaign and Jackie Harris of Gifford, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Rick was a 1975 graduate of Arcola High School. Right out of high school he had worked at Meadow Gold Dairies in Champaign until they closed. He owned and operated Good’s Office Supply in Monticello, IL for a few years before moving to Atlanta and working at M and M Systems.

Rick enjoyed collecting guns and working on them. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan.
