Rebecca Marie Schrock, 78, of Arthur, IL passed away at 4:10 P.M. on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Private funeral services will be held.

Marie was born on July 27, 1947, in Arthur, IL, a daughter of Jonas L. and Katherine (Gingerich) Miller. She married Wilmer A. Schrock on December 23, 1967, in Arthur, IL. He passed away on March 15, 2019

She is survived by a daughter, DeeAnne Sawin of Greenwood, IN, two granddaughters, Caitlin Jones and her husband, Carson of Camby, IL, and Kristin Black and her husband, Michael of Greenwood, IN; Marie is also survived by a great grandson that is due to be born any day; seven siblings, Mel Miller and his wife Anna of Cincinnati, OH, Rosanna Breedlove of Arthur, IL, Betty Wolstenholm and her husband Rex of Nolensville, TN, Laura Yutzy of Chesterville, IL; Levi Miller and his wife Jeanie of Neoga, IL; Loni Sparks and her husband Ron of Nashville, TN; and David Miller and his wife Karen of Arthur, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jonas L. and Katherine (Gingerich) Miller, her husband Wilmer Schrock, her son, Ryan Christopher Schrock and two brothers, Ira Miller and John Miller.

Marie was a 1965 graduate of Arthur High School; she attended Lake Land College and held various administrative positions before collaborating with her husband Wilmer in the day-to-day operations of Schrock Drywall.

Marie was a member of Vineyard Church in Sullivan, IL. She was a life learner and always willing to lead or participate in a class or Bible Study.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Vineyard Church in Sullivan, IL.
