Patricia Hinds

Patricia “Pat” Hinds, 90 of Charleston, IL passed away at 4:47 PM on Friday December 20, 2024 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL.

Private graveside services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024 in the Embarrass Cemetery in rural Redmon, IL. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. 

Pat was born on January 22, 1934 in rural Redmon IL. She was the daughter of Marion and Dorothy Jones. She married Roy J. Hinds, Jr. on April 15, 1953 in Paris IL. 

She is survived by two sons, Terry Hinds and his wife Robin of Champaign IL, and Gary Hinds and his wife Vicky of Charleston, IL. Eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, Rachel Ireland and her husband Sean of Savoy, IL, Joshua Hinds and his wife Jenny and their children, Jack, Charlie, and Max of Champaign IL, Jonathan Hinds and his fiancé Diana, children Lillian and Aria of Champaign, IL, Megan Hinds and fiancé Alex of Champaign, IL, Nathaniel Hinds and his wife Sarah of Normal, IL, Kelsey Hinds Trinidad and her husband Renato of Cortez, FL, Curt Hinds and his wife Kambri and their children, Mia, Ella, Cora, of Charleston, IL, Kevin Hinds and his wife Haley and their children Kaden and Khloe of Charleston, IL.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy Hinds, and an infant sister Peggy. 

Pat was a lifelong member of the Walnut Grove Christian Church in rural Arcola, IL. Her final years were blessed with many friends at the Villas of Hollybrook in Charleston, IL. Thank you for your friendships and the wonderful staff there.
