Marla Faith Miller, infant daughter of Samuel and Louise Ann (Yoder) Miller, passed away at 9:55 AM on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Effingham, IL. Marla was born at 1:18 AM on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Effingham, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 2, 2026 at the Danny Miller Jr. residence, 18421 Gun Club Road in Arcola, IL. Bishop Lamar E. Miller will officiate. Burial will be in the Bagdad Cemetery in rural Arcola, IL. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM on Sunday at the Danny Miller Jr. residence. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Survivors include her parents, Samuel and Louise Miller of Arcola, IL, two brothers Lavon Ray Miller and Jaylen Marc Miller both at home, her maternal grandparents, Duane and Wilma (Chupp) Yoder of Arcola, IL, paternal grandparents, Marcus and Amanda (Jess) Miller of Arcola, IL, maternal great grandparents, Ella (Herschberger) Yoder of Arthur, IL, and Harvey and Mary Louise (Otto) Chupp of Arthur, IL, paternal great grandparents, Levi and Berneice (Yoder) Miller of Arthur, IL, and Omer and Susanna (Gingerich) Jess of Arthur, IL, several aunts, and uncles, Wilmer Yoder and his wife Naomi (Herschberger), JoEtta Mae Yoder, LouElla Yoder, Elvin Yoder, Elmer Yoder, Joel Yoder, Lucinda Yoder, Rebecca Marie Miller, Mark Miller, Philip Miller, Lena Fern Miller, Benjamin Miller, Susanna Kay Miller, Nettie Ann Miller, Joshua Miller, Caleb Miller, Sharon Louise Miller, and Rosanne Elaine Miller, two first cousins, Timothy Alan Yoder and Jeremy Lynn Yoder.

She was preceded in death by her maternal great grandfather, Wilmer Yoder, and a stillborn uncle, Timothy Miller.

Marla’s family is a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
