Lucy Schrock

LUCY SCHROCK, 90, of Arthur, IL passed away at 5:15 A.M. Thursday, November 30, 2017 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at the Otto Center, South Building.  Bishop Jake Stutzman will officiate.  Burial will be in the Otto Cemetery.  Visitation will be held any time after 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 1, 2017 and any time after 10:30 A.M. Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Otto Center ½ mile south of Arthur.  The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Lucy was born October 8, 1927 in Arthur.  She was the daughter of Adlai B. and Katie (Mast) Miller.  She married Ben W. Schrock on December 29, 1949.  He passed away June 16, 2009.

She is survived by five children Katie and her husband Wills D. Miller of Arthur, Vernon and his wife Mary (Helmuth) of Atwood, Marvin and his wife Lou Ann (Herschberger) of Arthur, Mary and her husband Howard Plank of Arthur, Irene and her husband David Farmwald of Arthur, son-in-law, Daniel Chupp and his wife Dorothy of Arthur, twenty-one grandchildren, sixty-nine great-grandchildren, two step grandchildren and two step great-grandchild, one sibling, Ella Bontrager and her husband Ray of Arthur, and a sisters-in-law, Alta Miller of Arcola, and Ardyth Miller of Springfield and Mattie Miller of Arthur.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ben, parents, Adlai and Katie Miller, one daughter Lorene Chupp, two sisters, Lena Yoder and Sovilla Miller, three brothers, Henry Miller, Fred Miller and Danny Miller, and one brother-in-law, Adlai Yoder.

Lucy was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
