Lizzie Schrock

LIZZIE SCHROCK, 75, of Cooks Mills, IL formerly of Cadwell, IL passed away at 6:30 A.M. Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the Andrew Gingerich residence 1973 County Road 1600 East, Arthur, IL. Bishop Harvey Chupp will officiate.  Burial will be in the Otto Cemetery.  Visitation will be held any time after 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 25, 2018 and any time after 10:30 A.M. on Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Andrew Gingerich residence.   The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Lizzie was born on May 27, 1943 in Dover, DE.   She was a daughter of Noah J. and Ida S. (Beachy) Beachy.   She married Omer J. Schrock on October 10, 1963 in Arthur, IL.   He passed away on June 2, 2004,

Survivors include, five children, Mary Schrock of Sullivan, IL, Sharon (Eric) Houser of Middlebury, IN, Linda (Allen) Helmuth of Cooks Mills, IL, Rosanna (Matthew) Helmuth of Lovington, IL and Glen Ray Schrock of Cooks Mills, IL; 12 grandchildren, 1 step-granddaughter and 2 step-grandchildren; four siblings, Anna Wilcox of Atwood, Dan (Tory) Beachy of Quanah, TX, Lydia (Jay) Bartley of Soldotna, AK and Lena (Harley) Yoder of Marion, MI; brother-in-law, Calvin Miller of Arcola, IL and two step brothers, John and Joe Beachy of Texas.

Lizzie was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Edna Miller and her stepmother, Thelma Beachy.

Lizzie was a member of the Old Order Amish Faith.
