Lana Lee Cline

Lana Lee Cline, 65, of Mattoon, IL passed away at 1:18 AM on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at the Edwards Funeral Home, 221 East Main St., Arcola, IL.

Lana was born on December 16, 1960 in Mattoon, IL. She was a daughter of Olen Harley and Helen Ruth (Polter) Cline.

She is survived by four children, Ryan Cline, Jessica Cline, Sara Hernandez and her husband Gonzalo all of Mattoon, IL and Marco West and his fiancé Peachy Foster of Tuscola, IL, 21 grandchildren, Colten, Aden, Tionna, Christopher, Treshawn, Marquese, Tyree, Tanesha, Bella Lana, David Jr., Tapanga, Juan, Adriana, Miguel, Alejandra, Jayden, Ke’din, Wylin, Zanden, Grayson, Estella, one brother, Olen Cline of Mattoon, IL, a nephew, Andrew Moreno, of Mattoon, IL, a niece, Paula Ruth Moreno of Mattoon, IL, and a very special friend, Meesha Surratt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Olen and Ruth Cline and one sister, Mary Moreno.

Lana was known for her compassion as a caregiver. Her kindness shone through in all aspects of her life, especially in her love for taking care of others.

Family was incredibly important to Lana, and she cherished the moments spent with them, particularly her grandchildren.

In her free time, Lana enjoyed shopping, particularly for cups and purses. Being outdoors and surrounded by her family brought a sense of happiness to her life. Additionally, Lana had a fondness for scary movies and could often be found enjoying a cup of coffee while watching her favorites.
