Kevin Eugene Helmuth

Kevin Eugene Helmuth, infant son of Lester Jay and Rosa A. (Miller) Helmuth passed away at 7:12 AM on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at St. Johns’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at the HCK West Building, one mile south of Arthur. Bishop Reuben Kaufman will officiate. Burial will follow in the Otto Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 7:30 PM on Friday, December 12, 2025 at the HCK West Building. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Kevin was born on December 6, 2025 in Springfield, IL. The son of Lester Jay and Rosa A. (Miller) Helmuth.

He is survived by his parents, Lester and Rosa Helmuth of Arthur, IL, Maternal grandparents, Chris and Sara Mae Herschberger of Bloomfield, IA, paternal grandparents, Willis and Dorothy Helmuth of Arthur, IL, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Kevin was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, Alvin R. Miller and an uncle, Leroy Allen Helmuth.

Kevin’s family are members of the Old Order Amish Faith.
