KATIE J. MILLER, 95, of Arthur, IL passed away at 12:15 P.M. on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at her son, Andrew D. Miller’s residence in rural Arcola, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, November 29, at the Richard A. Gingerich residence, 439 E CR 200 N in rural Arcola, IL. Bishop Daniel Rocke will officiate. Burial will be in the Miller Cemetery in rural Arcola, IL. Visitation will be anytime prior to funeral at the Richard A. Gingerich residence in rural Arcola, IL.

Katie was born on April 30, 1918 in Lovington, IL. She was a daughter of Jephthah G. and Rebecca S. (Miller) Kaufman. She married Dan A. Miller on January 1, 1942 in Lovington, IL. He passed away on September 1, 1991.

Survivors include, five children, Felty D. Miller and is wife Katie Ann of Arthur, IL, Andrew D. Miller and his wife Edna Mae of Arcola, IL, Danny D. Miller and his wife Esther of Vienna, IL, Fannie D. Otto and her husband Daniel of Arthur, IL and Levi D. Miller and his wife Berneice of Arthur, IL; thirty-nine grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, two hundred and twenty great-grandchildren and twenty-two great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Dan Kaufman and his wife Anna of Arthur, IL, Reuben Kaufman and his wife Elva of Millersburg, OH and Felty Kaufman and his wife Martha of Arcola, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan A. Miller, one daughter, Emma Yoder and her husband Henry, two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three brothers, Andrew, Amzy and Noah Kaufman.

Katie was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
