Jean Eastin

JEAN M. EASTIN, 86, of Champaign, IL passed away at 7:45 P.M. on Sunday, November 15, 2009 at her residence in Champaign, IL.

A private graveside funeral was held at the Humboldt Cemetery.

Jean was born on September 18, 1923 in Cooks Mills, IL. She was a daughter of Earl and Mabel (Barnes) Crist. She married Harvey L. Eastin on November 18, 1943 in St. Charles, MO.

She is survived by her husband Harvey of Champaign, IL; one son, David Eastin and his wife Cristine of Madison, WI; two daughters, Pamela Taylor and her husband James III of Pooler, GA and Debra Good and her husband Glenn of Champaign, IL; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Her parents and one son, Randall Earl Eastin, preceded her in death.

Jean was a member of the First Christian Church of Champaign, IL where she did a lot of volunteer work through the years.

She worked in the cafeteria for the Champaign Unit 4 School District for several years.

Jean enjoyed sewing and crocheting.
