James Woolard

James “Bud” Woolard, 82, of Arcola, IL passed away at 12:22 A.M. on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Carle Hospital.

A visitation will be held 11 A.M to time of service on Wednesday September 24 , 2014 at the Edwards Funeral Home, 221 East Main in Arcola, IL. Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Wednesday September 24, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Arcola Township Cemetery.

Bud was born on October 8, 1931 in Indiana. He was a son of Dudley and Nellie (Buchanan) Woolard. He married Peggy (Stewart ) October 8, 1956 in Carlisle, Indiana. She passed away on December 30, 1998

Bud is survived by one son, James Woolard (Teresa Rahn) of Newman, IL; two daughters, Cheryl Leal (Cesar) of Arcola, IL; and Ronza Mendoza (Juan) of Arcola, IL; two sisters Linda Addcox of Paris, IL and Darlene Summers of Terre Haute, IN; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grand-children.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy, his parents, and three brothers, Gene, Orville and Carl Woolard.
Bud enjoyed widdling, woodworking, fishing, working on cars and fixing anything that was broke.
