HELEN “RUTH” KOEHN, 80, of Arthur, IL, passed away at 4:28 A.M. on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the Arthur Home in Arthur, IL.

Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at the Prairie Mennonite Church, Arthur, IL. Funeral services will be held at 10:15 A.M. on Sunday, February 14, 2016, at the Prairie Mennonite Church in Arthur, IL

Mrs. Chester L. Koehn, was born on October 20, 1935, to Jesse A. and Eva Kahn Nightingale in Verden, OK. She was married to Chester L. Koehn on September 5, 1954.

Surviving are her husband, Chester; children: Janet, Elton and wife Celia, all of Arthur, IL; grandchildren: Jaidi and husband Justin Koehn, Lovington, IL, Heather, DeRidder, LA; 3 great-grandchildren: Alexa, Ryley, and Layla Koehn, Lovington, IL; one brother, Paul and wife Gladys Nightingale, Chickasha, OK; two sisters: Verla and husband Corny Goertzen, Fulton, KY; Rose Mary and husband Raymond Jantz, Chickasha, OK.

Proceeding in death are her parents, four sisters, one brother, and one daughter-in-law.

Ruth spent most of her life in Chickasha, OK. They moved to Arthur, IL in 1992.

She was a member of the Prairie Mennonite Church of Arthur.
