She always had a song in her heart and by “God’s grace she hoped to keep on living & serving for Him.”

Fannie loved to sing; her children and grandchildren have some wonderful memories of her singing.  She sang in many areas of ministry and was on the radio back in the 70”s in Auburn, IN with a trio who sang before her husband Jake preached.   She loved going to minister into the prisons with Jake and singing for the inmates.   They loved when “Miss Fannie” came with Jake.   She was even honored by the Florida State Prison as a Volunteer of the Year.

She was well known as an excellent cook and baker (with her famous Lemon Pies, Whoopee Pies, Cinnamon Rolls, Strawberry Pie and more).   She loved to entertain and share her meals; she also did catering for a number of years.   Fannie was a lover of sewing, quilting (helping with the church ministries with the sale of her quilts).  She owned her own re-upholstery business, and she also enjoyed reading, traveling, gardening & helping others.

Mom, tell dad, Leon & Jesus "Hi" for us.
