Fannie was born on January 5, 1938, in Goshen, IN.  She was a daughter of Jonas J. and Sylvia (Miller) Schrock.  She married Reuben W. Miller on March 29, 1956, in Arthur, IL.  They lived in Holy Matrimony for 65 years, 4 months, and 26 days.  He passed away on August 24, 2021.

She is survived by 7 children, Allen Miller and his wife Carolyn of Arthur, IL, Goldie Bontrager and her husband Kenny of Sullivan, IL, Dorothy Kauffman and her husband Gary of Lovington, IL, Lorene Otto and her husband Ed of Sullivan, IL, Sylvia Miller of Sarasota, FL, Leroy Miller and his wife Naomi of New Holland, PA and Becky Stutzman and her husband Phil of Sarasota, FL, 20 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 sister, Lena Schrock and her husband David of Arthur, IL and sister-in-law, Margaret (Schrock) Delameter of Ventura, CA

Fannie attended Living Word Fellowship in Arthur, IL and Sarasota Mennonite Church in Sarasota, FL.

Fannie was very creative and often used her talent to design her own patterns for her sewing hobby and also hand drew the plans for her and Reuben’s first house they built together soon after they were married.  She sold Stanley Home Products for over 25 years and built many memories and relationships that still live on today thru her children.  She could play the harmonica with her nose and her favorite color was blue.  For those that spent time at Reuben and Fannie’s house, she was well known for her amazing cooking, especially her cinnamon rolls.  She especially loved baking with her grandchildren and great grandchildren whenever she got the chance.  Fannie was very detailed with record keeping and would always write everything down.  When asked about something that happened months or years ago, she would say “just a minute, I have that written down”, and always knew exactly where it was.  One of Fannie’s greatest joys was spending time singing hymns with the family gathers around.
