Emma E. (Yoder) Kaufman, 95, 2 months and 15 days of Lovington, IL passed away at 11:45 P.M. on Friday, June 15, 2018 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Monday, June 18, 2018 at the Reuben Kaufman residence, 2173 CR 1500 E, Lovington, IL.  Bishop Howard D. Miller will officiate.  Burial will be in the Otto Cemetery in rural Arthur, IL.  Visitation will be any time prior to the funeral at the Reuben Kaufman residence.  The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Emma was born on April 1, 1923 in Haven, KS to Emanuel and Mary Ellen (Troyer) Yoder.  She married Amzy R. Kaufman on September 11, 1947 in Chouteau, OK.  He passed away on July 14, 2010.

She is survived by eight children, Catherine Rocke and her husband Jerry of Arthur, IL, Rebecca Kaufman and Mary Kaufman both of Lovington, IL, David Kaufman and his wife Anna Mae of Arthur, IL, Jerry Kaufman and his wife Clara Mae of Arcola, IL, Reuben Kaufman and his wife Verna of Lovington, IL, Barbara Miller and her husband David of Arthur, IL and Lloyd Kaufman and his wife Mary Ellen of Arthur, IL; thirty-one grandchildren, seventy-nine great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, twenty-six step-great-grandchildren, twenty-nine step-great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, one sister-in-law, Ella Yoder.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, four sisters, Mattie Daniels, Edna Plank, Catherine Detweiler, and Susan Yoder, and two brothers Jacob Yoder and Perry Yoder.

Emma was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
