Edwin Schrock

Edwin N. Schrock age 86 of Arcola, IL passed away at 5:30 P.M. on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at his residence. 

Funeral service will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at the HCK West Building, 2004 CR 1800 E, IL.  Bishop Raymond Miller will officiate.  Burial will be in the Miller Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 2:00 P.M. on Friday, February 11, 2022 and all day on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the HCK West Building.  The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Edwin was born on October 23, 1935 in Arthur, IL to Daniel and Nancy (Schlabach) Schrock.  He married Viola Yoder.

He is survived by his wife, Viola, of 64 years, children, Margaret Miller, Harold (Penny) Schrock, Jacob Schrock, David (Nicole) Schrock all of Arthur, IL, Marcus (Pamela) Schrock of Bement, IL, and Wilma (Dave) Schwartz of Nappanee, IN, daughter-in-law, Michelle Schrock of Arthur, IL, 20 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 18 step great grandchildren, brothers, Daniel (Dena) Schrock of McBain MI, Jerry (Magdalena) Schrock of Kalona, IA, sisters, Martha (Lonnie) Yoder of Arthur, IL, Elizabeth Ann (Roy) Beachy of Kalona, IA, sisters-in-law, Edna Schrock, Esta Schrock, Nancy Schrock, Lizzie Ann Schrock, Susie Ellen Schrock, step brothers, and sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Stephen Schrock and Philip Schrock, son-in-law Enos Miller, step grandson, Ross Taylor, stepparents, John “JR” and Ada (Schrock) Yoder, and brothers, Fred, Henry, Perry, Jacob, David and Samuel Schrock.

Edwin was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
