Dora Anderson

Dora Anderson, 101 of Arcola, IL, living in Scottsdale, AZ, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at the Arizona residence of David and Christine Anderson.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM on Friday, November 7, 2025 at the HCK West Building, one mile south of Arthur. Bishop Daniel Rocke will officiate. Burial will be in the Yoder Cemetery, Arthur, IL. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at the HCK West Building. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Dora was born on October 27, 1924 in Arcola, IL. She was a daughter of Joseph and Anne (Schrock) Kauffman.

She is survived by her son, David Anderson and his wife Christine, of Scottsdale, AZ, granddaughter, Nicole Anderson Hamlin and her husband Eric of Seattle, WA, great grandson, Oliver David Hamlin, and great granddaughter, Margaret Joy Hamlin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Anderson, one son, Duane Anderson, two sisters, Sovilla Miller and Tillie Kauffman, and three brothers, Levi, Fred and Jerry Kauffman.

Dora was a member of the Old Order Amish. She enjoyed her life in Arcola, as well as the last 16 years in Arizona with her son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren.
