Clark Dyer

Melvin Clark Dyer Jr., 55, of Humboldt, IL passed away at 8:52 PM on Thursday, September 17, 2026 in Humboldt, IL.

A Celebration of life will be held at Noon, on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at the Town Hall in Humboldt, IL. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Clark was born on March 30, 1971 in Kenton, OH. He is a son of Melvin Clark Sr. and Bessie Jean (Seago) Dyer.

He is survived by his mother, Bessie Dyer, two brothers, Hanibal Clayton Dyer and his wife Krystal, and Harlan Waymore Dyer and his wife Diane “DJ”, all of Humboldt, IL, 13 nieces and nephews, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Clark Dyer Sr., and a sister, Cynthia Burch.

Clark graduated from Mattoon High School in 1989 and then worked in construction for many years.

He enjoyed hunting coon, rabbit and squirrel, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
