Clara M. Miller

Clara Miller, 74, of Boonville, MO, formerly of Millersburg, OH, passed away on April 21, 2026. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, known for her strong faith, kind heart, and joyful, spunky spirit.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 1, 2026 in the Arthur Cemetery, 900 East Park St., Arthur, IL. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Clara was born on October 8, 1951 in Millersburg, OH. She was the daughter of Melvin B. and Mary P. (Miller) Miller.

Clara found great happiness in gardening and took pride in growing and preserving her vegetables. She was also a gifted baker, well known for her homemade bread and cinnamon rolls, which she lovingly shared with family, friends, and neighbors.

She is survived by her children and their families: Sam (Briana) Troyer, grandchildren Adria, Tricia, Sam, and Olivia, and great-grandchildren Hayden and Aubrey; Mary Troyer, granddaughter Hannah; Sharon Mellor, grandchildren Nikita (Lucas), Hailey, Summer, and Isabel, and great-granddaughter Renesmaee; and Andrea (Jeremie Scott) Mast, grandchildren Sydney and Jayde.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Andy Troyer, and her great-grandson, Param.

Clara was very loved and will be remembered for her infectious personality, fun-loving spirit and her ability to make everyone feel welcome. She never knew a stranger. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
