CARTER KRUZ TOMASELLO, infant son of Benjamin and Erica Jo (East) Tomasello of Mattoon, IL was stillborn at 9:08 P.M. on Friday, September 27, 2013 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL.

Family and friends are welcome to attend graveside funeral services planned for Carter at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October the 2, 2013 at Roselawn Cemetery in Charleston, IL. Rev. Bruce Baker will officiate. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Carter is survived by his parents Benjamin and Erica Tomasello of Mattoon, IL; maternal grandparents, Roger and Kathy East of Charleston, IL; paternal grandparents, Anton Tomasello of La Cross, WI and Brenda Tomasello of Arab, AL; maternal great-grandparents, Billy and Shirley East of Hindsboro, IL; one maternal uncle, Nicholas East of Charleston, IL and paternal aunt and uncles, Tina Tomasello, Daniel Tomasello and his wife Laura, and Mark Tomasello all of Mattoon, IL, Tony Tomasello and Adam Tomasello and his wife Jackie all of Arab, AL and Matthew Tomasello of Panama City, FL.

He was preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents, Richard and Helen Kimball and his paternal great-grandparents, James and Margaret Carter and Jerome and Helen Tomasello.

Carter weighed 3 pounds and was 16 inches long. He had dark brown hair, his mother’s nose and his father’s toes. He is the best thing that could have happened, even though it was short lived.
