Brian Kenneth Blagg, 59, of Arcola, IL went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, June 7, 2019 in Mattoon, IL.

Private family services will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Walnut Grove Christian Church.  Pastor Ian Stamps, Pastor Kevin Wolfe and Pastor Steven Stern will officiate.  Burial will be in the Arcola Cemetery. The Celebration of Brian's life will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the Edwards Funeral Home in Arcola, IL.

Brian was born on July 14, 1959 in Mattoon, IL.   He was a son of William Kenneth and Frances Mardelle (Bugh) Blagg.  He married the love of his life, Charity Gil Poorman on September 14, 1979 at Walnut Grove Christian Church in Arcola, IL.

Survivors include his loving wife, Charity, of Arcola, IL, three daughters, Chenayle (Dave) Hatfield of San Diego, CA, Katelyn (Ryan) DeLeva of Tuscola, IL, and Abrian Blagg Sentel (John Crosbie) of Clinton, IL, seven grandchildren, Raemona and Arya Hatfield, Ayla and Brayden DeLeva, and Millie Sentel, Marisa and Natalie Crosbie, including a special friend to the family, Rickie Painter, one brother, Wm. Larry (Holly) Blagg of Indianapolis, IN, and numerous nieces and nephews as well as an extended family of in-laws.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Mardelle Blagg.

Brian was a well known figure in the Arcola farming community having farmed with his father and uncle at a young age, then later with his cousin Craig Munson.

He was a member of Walnut Grove Christian Church, Okaw Farmers Co-op, Arcola Foundation, and the Douglas County Farm Bureau.  He had most recently been attending Broadway Christian Church in Mattoon, IL.

Brian was a devoted father and the best "Popo" ever!  Brian knew no strangers; he cultivated friends everywhere.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Walnut Grove Christian Church or Broadway Christian Church.
