Frances Hutton

FRANCES IRENE HUTTON, 96, of Humboldt, IL passed away at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Palm Terrace of Mattoon, IL.

No formal services will be held.

Frances was born on November 10, 1927 in Humboldt Township. A daughter of John E. and Elsie (Lawrence) Moore. She married Dale Edwin Hutton on November 29, 1946 in Charleston, IL. He passed away on January 24, 1997.

She is survived by four children, Paul E. Hutton and his wife Brenda of Mattoon, IL, Kenneth W. Hutton of Lerna, IL, Donna Ragle of Sullivan, IL and Debbie Crean and her husband Mark of Florida, son-in-law Mike Harris of Humboldt, IL; twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, Mary Harris, one great-grandson, Clayton Allan Harris, a son-in-law, Bill Ragle and all her siblings.

Frances was a member of the Arcola American Legion Auxiliary.

She had worked at the Mattoon Garment Factory, and she also worked in the restaurant at Rockome Gardens. Frances was a great cook and well known for her cinnamon rolls.
